This is the story of how Vale, a major supplier of iron ore for the automotive industry, including to Hyundai-Kia, robbed SIRGE Coalition organizer Edson Krenak and his family of access to their ancestral lands. When companies such as Hyundai fail to conduct adequate due diligence into their suppliers, abuses such as the ones shared by Edson in the video below are able to continue unchecked throughout their supply chains.
